- Meeting Presentation -

Ken Burkert will give a presentation on container water garden.`

With the arrival of warming season this is the time to consider keeping your aquarium fish outside for the summer.  Bring your questions.  There are CAS members keep their (not all) fish outdoors in the summer..

- Mini Auction -

    As usual, the second half of the meeting will feature a mini-auction.

    Sellers are limited to 5 items of anything related to the hobby.

    Sellers will split auction proceeds 50-50 with the Club. Club members

    enjoy an 80-20 split.

March Categories:

  1. African rift lake cichlids.  Those cichlids that are endemic to the African rift lakes (Malawi, Tanganyika, Victoria, etc.) Examples: Cobalt and Red Zebra, Blue Dolphin, Frontosa, Electric Blue, Electric Yellow, Mbuna, Pseudotropheus, Tropheus, Labeotropheus, Metriaclima, Nimbochromis, Neolamprologus, Lamprologus, Julidochromis, Tropheus, Cynotilapia, Cyphotilapia, Eretmodus, Cyrtocara, Sciaenochromis, etc.
    Shown in pairs with a divider, if needed.
    Fish over eight inches long may be shown as singles.

  2. All other non-fish aquarium animals.  Amphibians (frogs, newts, salamanders), Lizards, Turtles, Snails, Corals, Anemones, Echinoderms, and any other form of aquatic or semi-aquatic life that is not a fish.  This includes freshwater and marine invertebrates except freshwater shrimp.
    Shown as singles.

  3. Open class​

Bowl Show participants, please arrive early to setup your tanks/bowls and fill out necessary paperwork for your entry.

The Colorado Aquarium Society, established in 1947, is an open group for aquarists to share their interest in all facets of the aquarium hobby. Our members consist of advanced expert hobbyists as well as beginners and all levels between. Our monthly meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome!
