·         July picnic is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th, 2017.  Location is 46 Timber Trail, Idaho Springs, CO 80452 (google map it) (Tory Brown's hide-a-way).   Food at 1:00.  We will provide main dish, sides, beverages, plates, utensils, etc.  RSVP requested so we can plan.   I suggest that you come up early, there are hiking trails, biking trails, horse trails, off-roading and scenic drives everywhere around the cabin.  Hike, come back to the cabin to eat, rest, socialize, let the kids nap, then go hike again.  Child and dog friendly, bring everyone.   Elevation is about 9,800', it will be cool with lots of tall pines and aspens for shade, bring a jacket.  Large deck for lounging and conversation.  If fire restrictions allow we will have a fire pit going for Samoas.  The drinking water is great, no chemical additives and it is "unused" water! Only about 6 miles from Mt. Evans.  Nearby Public shooting range.   Only 1 hour drive from SouthEast Aurora, mostly paved, last mile is good gravel road.  Make a day of it, or Bring a sleeping bag and make a weekend of it.  Free souvenir rocks, you pick!
