·         July picnic is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th, 2017.  Tentative location is 46 Timber Trail, Idaho Springs, CO 80452 (google map it) (Tory Brown's hide-a-way).   Food at 1:00.  RSVP requested so we can plan.   I suggest that you come up early, there are hiking trails, biking trails, horse trails, off-roading and scenic drives everywhere around the cabin.  Hike, come back to the cabin to eat, rest and go hike again.  Child and dog friendly, bring everyone.  Lots of entertainment for the younger set.   Elevation is about 8,800', it will be cool with lots of tall pines for shade.  Large deck for lounging and conversation.  If fire restrictions allow we will have a fire pit going for Samoas The drinking water is great! Only about 6 miles from Mt. Evans.  Nearby Public shooting range.   Only 1 hour drive from SouthEast Denver, mostly paved, last mile is good gravel road.  Make a day of it!  Fun in the Mountains!
